Software Test Lab

Many organizations choose to build and maintain an on-site software testing lab facility. This desire often
conflicts with the need to focus maximum effort and resources on the development and delivery of a high quality
product. With the availability of advanced software, Internet and communication technologies available today,
much of the need for a full-blown test lab has been eliminated and the focus has shifted to a model where each
developer/tester workstation is capable of providing the infrastructure necessary  to performs those complex
test cases.

There are, however, certain classes of tests such as interoperability and certification which still require a multi-
platform and physically diverse equipment and a well-equipped software test lab.

We offer the following services:

  • Design and construction of software testing labs from the ground up, including requirements analysis,
architectural layout, equipment purchase and installation, training, and ongoing upgrade and
    maintenance

  • Management and/or maintenance of existing on-site labs with zero down time availability

  • Test planning and execution for interoperability testing, certification testing, and usage scenario testing
at OnTest or third-party lab facilities

  • Co-ordination of, the use of off-site third-party software test labs such as
       www.platformlab.org

  • Deployment of techniques and technologies that enable developer/tester workstations to provide the
necessary and sufficient infrastructure to perform complex test cases in a standalone mode
